Christina Park

Chief Executive Officer

Christina is a 3x entrepreneur with extensive experience in quantitative and economic research, including at Meta and at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in DC. She began at Sentiont in 2023 as a Director of Operations, where she was responsible for IT, Finance, and Business Development, in addition to overseeing HR and Accounting.

Since transitioning to CEO in the summer of 2024, she has focused Sentiont's "Machine Learning for Complex Systems" efforts on the use of AI for social good initiatives. In particular, she is excited about the potential use cases for AI/ML models to proactively inform U.S. and global workforce development programs on recessionary indicators and shifting demands in the labor market.

Sam Park

Chief Technology Officer

Sam is a physicist and systems engineer with notable previous experience as a Principal Investigator on a big data program (X-Data) for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and a Chief Scientist at Northrop Grumman on a Boeing-led Systems Engineering team of more than a hundred engineers. He holds a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Following three decades of experience in aerospace engineering and sensor R&D, he founded Sentiont in 2019, with the mission to bring the latest AI and ML to data analysis and the engineering of complex systems. Sentiont’s initial contract work was on applying AI/ML to autonomous watercraft development.

Georgia Dyer

Head of HR

Georgia is a business graduate from the University of South Alabama who quickly grew in her role at Sentiont, and was promoted to Head of HR in the summer of 2024.

Some of her notable accomplishments include implementing an employee handbook, setting up employee benefits (e.g. health insurance and 401K plans), and mapping out detailed processes for hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.

A "Jill of all trades," Georgia ably steps in where needed to support other business functions. She has overseen bookkeeping, in close collaboration with Sentiont's outside CPA firm. She has also stepped in as a program manager for business development initiatives.

Liam Oswald

Machine Learning Engineer

Liam is a Machine Learning researcher and practitioner, with a B.S. in Computer Engineering, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a PhD in Systems Engineering, all from the University of South Alabama.

His work spans a wide array of topics, including research on hyperspectral image classification for lesion detection (algorithm-based deep learning) and creating workforce development resources related to edge artificial intelligence.

Liam is famously friendly and has generously volunteered his free time to mentoring interns and student researchers looking to follow in his footsteps.

AJ Wilson

Software Developer Lead

AJ is a software developer and engineer with nearly two decades of experience in engineering, test and evaluation, and project management. He is a U.S. Coast Guard e-tech (electronics technician) veteran.

Since joining Sentiont in late 2024, AJ has made an outstanding impact on Sentiont development processes, implementing new agile methodologies and test and evaluation procedures.

He has also made a name for himself as a technical manager who prioritizes one-on-one connections with team members, staying abreast of reports' career goals and seeking novel ways to align day-to-day work with expressed areas of interest.

Naija Andry

Software Developer

Naija is a software developer and engineer with six years of experience in end-to-end (conceptualized-to-commercially-actualized), full-stack software development, including three years working as a software engineer for Enterprise car rental. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Applied Math from Emory University.

Since joining Sentiont in late 2024, Naija has made a name for herself as a tinkerer who capably moves between machine learning, data structures and algorithms, and front-end design tasks.

Matt Simmons

GNC Engineer

Matt is a GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) engineer with ten years of experience, including four years working on GNC at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) in Eglin, FL. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.

He has previously worked on NASA-funded research on NASA Marshall's Electric Sail and Mars Ascent Vehicle, and NSF-funded research on atmospheric sampling.

Garrison Woods

Systems Engineer

Garrison is a mechanical and systems engineer with ten years of experience in maritime operations, system design, and project management. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and will be graduating with an M.S. in Systems Engineering in May 2025, both from the University of South Alabama. He is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
